In 2014, a flash flood destroyed my home studio and ruined many valued items. During the process of throwing out what was lost and cleaning what remained, I sometimes recognized a sad beauty in the debris. Throughout 2015, I created a number of books in response to the event.
Deluge, a unique hinged book with split cover, contains digital copies of twelve damaged photographs from my infancy along with translucent overlays emulating the residue left behind once the water receded.
